I had a great time last night at the Phoenix checking out Sleigh Bells and Die Antwoord, two bands with tons of energy that have been making waves throughout the blog community. The show was unreal and the crowd seemed to have almost as much energy as the bands.
Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, the noisy trash-rave-rap act Die Antwoord had their US debut at Coachella this spring (Interview).
Sleigh Bells, a noise pop group from Brooklyn, played an equally amazing set that definitely left my ears ringing.
